Section 01

Who Operates This Program

The Creative Guild SMS program is operated by Creative Guild Inc (EIN 93-1505576), a New Jersey corporation. Messages are primarily sent under the brand The Script Doctor, which is a service of Creative Guild Inc.

This program is registered for A2P 10DLC messaging in accordance with U.S. carrier requirements and applicable federal and state telecommunications regulations.

Section 02

How to Opt In

You opt in to receive text messages from us in one of two ways:

  • Online form: Provide your mobile phone number and check a clearly labeled, unchecked-by-default SMS consent checkbox on one of our intake, booking, or opt-in forms.
  • Texted keyword: Text the published keyword to our published phone number (when offered through specific campaigns).

Your opt-in is specific to SMS, separate from any other consents you give us (such as agreeing to our Terms of Service or signing up for our email list), and is never a condition of purchase. You may use our products and services without opting in to SMS.

By opting in, you confirm that the mobile number you provide belongs to you, that you are authorized to receive text messages at that number, and that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

Section 03

What Messages You'll Receive

The messages you receive depend on what you opted in for. They may include:

Transactional Messages

  • Consultation and session confirmations
  • Session reminders (e.g., 24 hours before a scheduled call)
  • Script review and manuscript feedback status updates
  • Program announcements (start dates, schedule changes, materials delivery)
  • Account and security-related notices

Marketing Messages (Only Where You've Separately Opted In)

  • Promotional offers for programs, workshops, or services
  • New program launches
  • Limited-time invitations
  • Educational content and updates

Every marketing message will identify the sender (e.g., "The Script Doctor:") and include instructions for opting out.

Section 04

Express Consent

By opting in, you provide express written consent to receive recurring automated text messages from The Script Doctor (operated by Creative Guild Inc) at the mobile number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You confirm that the mobile number belongs to you and that you are authorized to receive text messages at that number.

We maintain records of your consent — including the form you used, the date and time, your IP address, and the exact language you agreed to — for the duration required by carrier and telecommunications regulations and applicable state law (in some jurisdictions, up to 10 years).

Section 05

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity with us and the type of opt-in you provided:

  • Transactional opt-ins (booking and program confirmations): Messages are triggered by your activity. You may receive several messages around scheduled sessions and program milestones, then none for extended periods.
  • Marketing opt-ins: Up to several marketing messages per month, with frequency increasing temporarily around major program launches or events.

You can always reduce frequency or opt out entirely by replying STOP.

Section 06

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier plan. We do not charge you for receiving these messages, but your carrier may charge standard messaging rates for each message sent or received.

Your wireless carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Please check with your wireless carrier for details on your specific messaging plan.

Section 07

Opting Out — STOP

You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any text message you receive from us
  • Replying UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT
  • Emailing [email protected] with the subject line "SMS Unsubscribe"

After you opt out, you will receive a single confirmation message and will not receive further messages from the program you opted out of. If you have opted in to multiple programs (e.g., transactional and marketing), opting out applies to the program from which you received the most recent message unless you specify otherwise.

Re-Subscribing — START

If you've opted out and want to resubscribe, reply START or submit a new opt-in through our website.

Section 08

Customer Support — HELP

For help with the SMS program, reply HELP to any message and we'll respond with our contact information and support details. You can also reach us directly:

Email: [email protected]
Subject line for SMS issues: "SMS Support"

We aim to respond to SMS-related support inquiries within one business day.

Section 09

Privacy of SMS Data

Your SMS opt-in, your mobile number, and your messaging activity with us are treated as sensitive consent data.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support of our services is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

In plain language, this means:

  • We do not sell your mobile number or your opt-in data to anyone
  • We do not share your SMS data with our marketing partners, affiliates, or sister brands for their own marketing
  • We do not use your SMS data to build lookalike audiences for advertising
  • The only third parties that receive your SMS data are the messaging-service subcontractors who help us deliver the messages you signed up to receive (e.g., our SMS carrier and platform provider)

For complete details on how we handle all personal information — not just SMS — see our Privacy Policy.

Section 10

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is supported by major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and most regional carriers. Service availability and reliability may vary by carrier and network conditions.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We are not responsible for any charges your carrier may impose based on your messaging plan.

Section 11

Service Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS program — including any specific campaign or message type — at any time, with or without notice. Material changes to these SMS Terms will be communicated through the Services or via the most recent contact information you have provided.

Your continued use of the SMS program after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to a change, you may reply STOP at any time.
